The Annual Sports Week is one of the most energetic and anticipated highlights of the School year. Students from all grades participate with great passion, spirit and enthusiasm, competing in various athletic and team events that promotes sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork among House-wise competitions.

Literary week celebrates the power of words, art, music, creativity and literature. It offers students a platform to express themselves through writing, speaking, music, and creative arts, fostering a love for literature and public expression.

Mewi Fiesta
The School's annual fete day, stylized and referred to as 'Mewi Fiesta' is one of the most awaited annual events of the school - a vibrant celebration filled with carnival colors, creativity and community spirit. The school campus grounds come alive with food stalls, fun games, music, karaoke and jumble sales, creating unforgettable memories for all.
Mewi Fiesta not only showcases the teachers' and students' creativity but also strengthens teamwork, responsibility and school unity.

Cultural Day at Mewi Higher Secondary School is a tribute to the rich heritage and traditions of the Naga tribes and India's cultural diversity. Students proudly display their ethnic attire, traditional songs, folk dances, folk tales and indigenous games, promoting respect and appreciation for every culture.

AWARENESS SESSION ON MENSTRUAL HYGIENE AND DISTRIBUTION OF REUSABLE SANITARY NAPKINS
This programme, marking International Women’s Day, was part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and implemented by Doctors For You (DFY) with the support of Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) on 17th March, 2025.
